If we both feel there’s a strong fit, we’ll schedule an in-depth consultation on-site for renovations or in our boardroom for new builds. This allows us to meet with all key decision-makers and better define the scope of work. During this session, we’ll take a deeper dive into details such as design requirements, regulatory approvals and your planned investment range.
While we aim to provide clear guidance, it’s important to note that costs can often exceed initial expectations. As there is no fee for this consultation, we ask that all key decision-makers be present to ensure the discussion is productive and aligned.
The design and planning phase, or “pre-construction”, is the journey from initial concept to the start of building. It’s a vital stage, every bit as important as construction itself. When done right, it saves you time, money, and unnecessary stress.

We guide you step-by-step. You’ll have one point of contact, a clear decision calendar, weekly updates, and site walk-throughs at key milestones.
Here’s a quick rundown of our process: we begin with a short call to understand goals, timeline, and budget. Then we review your home or lot, outline options, and map a simple plan: design → permits → build → handover.
Look for transparent contracts, detailed pricing (few allowances), confirmed timelines, references, and active job sites you can visit. Once you’ve vetted potential builders through online reviews and community feedback, meet the site supervisor you’ll work with to get a feel for their communication style and go from there.
